I don’t think I’ve ever listed my favorite blogs. Let’s do it as a top ten list for 2007.
- Don’t Eat Alone – The blog of my new friend-I’ve-never-met, Milton Brasher-Cunningham. One of the finest writers I have encountered.
- SerotoninRain – The blog of one of the few friends-I’ve-never-met that I have actually met, Jim Jannotti. Usually I read blogs in batches, saving them for such a time. But when I see that Jim has a new post, I always read it immediately. Jim goes postal on a regular basis.
- Michael Spencer, the internet monk. The blogger I aspire to be. Designated lightning rod.
- Mark Byron. Erudite in so many ways. Always thought-provoking. The professor.
- Ben Witherington III. The New Testament scholar. BW3. Unafraid.
- Logos Bible Software Blog. Where else can you get screencap video of syntax searching in the Greek New Testament?
- Subversive Influence – the home of Brother Maynard. This guy is a hero to me, if for no other reason than his dictum: Live Your Faith. Share Your Life. But there is a lot more, too.
- Danno’s Dangerous Mind. Here is a small church pastor who keeps it real. When I read his blog, I feel like I’m working alongside him.
- Achievable Ends – Bill Kinnon.
- There are a dozen blogs I could put in this spot, blogs of people I consider friends, some of whom I’ve met and some of whom I haven’t. Representing these smaller blogs, I’ll mention Converging Heritage, Mark Webb’s blog. Mark happens to be my wife’s second cousin, but I know him better via the web than in real life.
There you go. Now you have something to read. Try to get caught up before 2008.
