I heard a story on NPR this morning about the prominence of identity politics in this country and around the world.

So, why doesn’t the government just stop asking the race question and putting Americans into groups? Why can’t we just be Americans?

My theory is that the liberals rely on identity politics to keep their sheeple in line. If the sheeple ever figure out how they are being used, they will rebel. But for now, all is well in the liberal world.
